Our Mission
At Grace Market, it's our mission to share God’s truth and love with people who are going through a difficult time.
Who are we serving?The main focus of this ministry is to serve people that are experiencing hardship or homelessness. According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness website, in 2020, on a given night in Mississippi there were 1,107 homeless people with 526 of those being unsheltered. Due to the location of Crossway Church near a major interstate, our church office sees on average 1 person every other week in person asking for assistance.
What items will be stocked in the Grace Market?
Items will include, but are not limited to, non-perishable food items, gently worn clothing, new undergarments, hygiene products, as well as Bibles and spiritual growth resources.
There will also be resource information available from our community partners that assist in the restoration process.
Are you in need of assistance?
Grace Market will be officially open on May 1, 2023. Please check back here for more information on dates and times the Market will be available for those in need. If you need assistance prior to then, we recommend that you check with our local Community Partners for resources.
How can you be a part of this with us?
There are several ways that you can involved and be a part of the Grace Market @ Crossway Church as a volunteer.
Prayer Partner
Prayer will be a vital part of this ministry at Crossway. Praying for the items, the space, the people in need, and our volunteers will be essential as we look to better serve our community.
Financial Donor
Financial assistance will be important to ensure items remain stocked and prepared for individuals in need. During certain seasons, needs may change.
Serve @ the Market
There will be several different types of volunteer opportunities at the Market. It will be our volunteers that help make this possible to our community. If you'd like to find out more, let us know!
